You can’t take the chai from me.

(Sorry for the pun, Firefly fans, I’m knitting another Jayne hat.)

So I went to the doctor today because I had a lump in my breast. Did I delay for, like, a month because I’m a moron? Yes. Normally I don’t, but I just got busy, which is the lamest excuse possible. It won’t happen again.

Anyway, it’s not cancer, thank God.

It’s only fibrocystic changes. Apparently, I got a little tiny mass in there, and it aches. Coincidentally, it’s right where I had a plugged duct when I was nursing. But now I get the joy of my first mammogram. Woo. (Guys reading this are now making the “TMI!” face.)

So let’s review: up-side: probably not cancerous, probably won’t die. down-side: made worse by caffeine and chocolate. That’s right, my two favorite things in the world.

So now to make the boobie-ache go away, I gotta quit drinking caffeinated lattes – and definitely no more of my beloved mochas. Bear with me as I come down from the sweet, sweet heights of Mount Chocolympus and begin trudging through life without coffee.

And I thought kicking the antidepressants was bad. Grumble.

    Meep!

    I’m glad you’re okay! *hughughugs*

I feel your pain. I’m allergic to chocolate, most seafood, and dairy. 🙁 All my favorite things to eat cause me to break out in a horrid itchy rash. *sniff*

Eeeeeeeeeee! Jayne hat! There can never be enough of them 🙂

Echoing the comments already left…Glad it’s not the C word, and sorry about losing your two happy C words. ::rubrub!::

Man, can’t even have a liiiiittle chocolate or coffee now and then?

I guess at least you can have decaf lattes, though it’s not the same.

And I feel the need to repeat the pattern and add something like the previous commenters did 🙂
