It’s official.
School was out today, and my daughter was very active. As a result, I finally became a MOM – I actually had to use the phrase, “Don’t run with scissors!”
Next step: “You’ll put your eye out!”

I always thought that the real “mom” induction was the first time you find yourself counting out loud after using a full name in the ultimate ~mother tone~. Its almost amusing when that tone works on a classroom full of kids who all immediately stop and look guilty even if they weren’t doing anything wrong.
