Blue goo.

Five hours and two toothbrushings after eating a helping of that cobbler, and these are my teeth. It looks like I’ve been brushing with AquaSmurf. The ladies in my knitting group noticed, but apparently weren’t going to say anything, the dears. Dad, you’ve been warned.

For the record, it was totally worth it.

Note to self: smile with mouth closed tomorrow.

Got any peroxide? I bed if you rinse with a peroxide/water solution it will get the AquaSmurf out 🙂

when you cook berries in cast iron (like you did ;)) you get a blue that can be seen by firelight.

we found that it faded pretty much by the next day (and a couple toothbrushings and lots of beer). unless of course you eat it for breakfast. then all bets are off….

fun and tasty too! win win!

Interesting! I hadn’t thought about the cast iron having a chemical effect on the berries. The color is gone this morning. There’s not much cobbler left, but we’ll probably have the rest when we watch Pushing Daisies tonight. The show takes place in a pie shop called “The Pie Hole” and it always makes my husband want pastry. Heh.
