Oh, man. Are any of them salvageable?
Oh, man. Are any of them salvageable?
Two of them are okay. I was getting ready to turn the heel anyway, so I can do the heel on one circular until I’m able to get to the store for another set of DPNs. The pattern just works better on DPNs.
Miraculously, not one stitch was dropped. They all stayed on the broken needles.

This is why I metal DPNs. Some of the companies that make wood DPNs have replacement guarantees, send in broken needles & they send back new ones. Might be worth checking into.

If they are brittany needles they will be replaced for sure, just email the company and they’ll send you new ones. I broke one of mine a while back and got a new needle back in about a week.

Oh no! I can send you some Brittany Size 1s that I don’t use if you want them.

They’re Clovers, but maybe I’ll take this opportunity to upgrade.

Aw, that’s sweet! If you just happen to have some lying around, great. But it’s not that far to the yarn store, once my allergies die down. Until then, I’m leaving the house as little as possible!

I’ll check on it, but these were Clovers, so I may be out of luck on that front.
