Stylin’ profilin’.
So I made this hat out of Noro Silk Garden. I think it looks pretty darn good, and I’m proud because I didn’t follow a pattern, I just made it up myself. But now I have a problem.
See, the yarn store has two skeins of the Silk Garden in slightly different colors that they never marked up the extra buck when the price rose. So now I really want to knit two more hats. Problem is, even without the markup, the yarn is $9.98 a skein! I’ve only got one head; there are only so many hats I need! So unless one of you wants to pony up ten bucks plus shipping for a hat, the yarn will languish on the shelf.
Well, I’ve still got plenty in my stash, anyway. There are worse problems to have. 🙂
P.S. – is it just me, or does this picture make the hat look like a breast? To quote GM Tessima upon seeing the picture: “Wow. I want to give that hat a mammogram.”
