Thunderdome!
It’s IEP meeting time! In a half hour, we’ll meet with Em’s “dream team” of specialists from her school. They’re wonderful people and we’ve always had a good relationship, but these meetings are still exhausting because of the laser focus on an emotional issue – our child and how best to help her.
Wish us luck!
ETA: It went well. Thanks, y’all!
Best of luck!

You’re in my thoughts cause I’m right there with ya! Wednesday is our big IEP / ARD day. This year is intense because they are transitioning her to the High School. Which has me more than a little nervous.

I think it’s great that Emily’s school still focuses on the children rather than than national testing. All the good ole days when you actually LEARNED and not just regurgitated what the teacher said.
Hugs to you and yours!

I’m glad it’s over and done with and you can now get beyond Thunderdome.
